The interview process was online with AI, and I received no follow-up or personalized experience. It was a poor service, with no email confirmation or rejection. For such a large company, they should offer a more personal approach and ensure applicants get a reply.

First you go into the store and fill out an application. Then you pick a day to come back for the interview, Tuesday or Friday at 4. Mine was on a Friday. I was a bit worried about wearing jeans but you don't need to dress up, just look good. I wore A&F jeggings, sandals, and a navy cardigan from Hollister with a tan tank from Forever21. Basically, dress like the people who work there. For girls, not too much makeup, aim for the natural look. Guys should be clean-shaven! For the actual interview, I got there about 15 minutes early and saw two guys already there. I asked if they were for the interview and they said yes. I asked if we needed to let someone know we were here, and they said they'd already told someone, so I decided to. I went to the counter and was friendly, saying I was there for the interview. The person at the counter said they thought I already worked there, and then one of the managers who interviewed us walked up and said, "She's here for the interview but I thought she already worked here!" I was happy he said that in front of everyone! Anyway, we sat down and I made an effort to talk to the other guys and anyone who came after. I'm usually shy and don't start conversations, but I think they notice if you're a "people person." I ended up meeting some cool people. There were 13 of us in the interview! We couldn't go to the food court, so we sat in a big circle somewhere in the mall. First, we went around saying our name and something interesting about ourselves. Make sure to speak up and make eye contact with the interviewer and others. There are different questions for Model and Impact. They ask: What is Diversity? Why is it important in the work place? How would your friends describe you? How would you describe the Hollister Style? Usually, they'd make you say a tagline like "Hey, whats up?" but since there were so many people, he skipped it. He then read over policy stuff, said we'd hear back in a week if we got the job, and we could leave. My interview was on a Friday, and I got the call on Monday around 5:30pm! Good Luck :)
