First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Holland & Sherry.
Sales Associate
The interview process was pretty standard. The person interviewing me was nice. The showroom was clean, and everyone seemed happy with their jobs. The interviewer clearly explained what the job entails day-to-day and the expectations for the role.
- Tell me about a time you successfully changed a negative customer experience into a positive one.
Sales
My initial interview went great. I met with the President for the next step, and unfortunately, I got a really bad feeling from him. I'm actually glad I didn't get an offer because of where I ended up. He seemed really rigid and by the book, not understanding how energy works. I tend to avoid people driven by ego and power. I feel bad for his team dealing with his low energy. It's funny he lives up to his last name.

Call Center Agent
It was a smooth interview experience, quite average overall. What I liked is that they didn't ask any personal questions, which was amazing. The interviewer was really organized and clever, and everything was sorted out well. I really enjoyed the interview.
- Could you tell me what your favorite movie is?
Customer Service Representative
You start with a phone call, then an in-person interview. It's pretty relaxed and informal, mainly to check if you can keep up with the job's demands.
- Why do you think you're suitable for this role?
