We kicked off with a group Q&A with a partner, then moved onto a group discussion where we had to look at different potential clients the firm could help and give our thoughts. After that, there was a situational judgment interview, and finally, a partner interview.

First a phone screening. Then met with HR Director, attorneys (partners/associates/counsel), and the admin. assistant. The admin. assistant gave me a skills assessment test (spelling / grammar / proofreading / typing). They judged based on "fit" vs. skills, qualifications, experience, work ethic, references, etc.

Behavioral Technical

I was contacted by a recruiter to set up the interview. I had a telephone interview with an HR person, met with an attorney, and also met with an HR recruiter. After that, there was a background check and a skills test. I thought I got along okay with the attorney, but after the merger with Lovells, the work environment really changed for the worse. Benefits went down, and it's just not a good place to work anymore. Management doesn't want to communicate with support staff and just tells us to do more with less, while the HR staff is apparently celebrating birthdays every month with money from their budget.
