It was an in-person interview. The manager was quick and really emphasized the need for open availability; without it, they wouldn't even consider you. It was a casual interview, so no need to dress up. They suggested bringing your resume, but the manager barely glanced at it.

It was a very casual interview. I sat down and talked about my previous experience working security at a site with one of the managers. We discussed the responsibilities of the security position at the location and our mutual love of German food.

The interview was one-on-one. You'd meet with either the Kitchen Manager or Front of House Manager based on your application's experience. I met with the Executive Chef who managed the kitchen. He was very nice and respectful. We talked about my previous work history, what I wanted from this job, and why I'd be a good fit. They decided I'd work in the kitchen as a line cook instead of a server, which is what I applied for. This ended up being a positive outcome.
