Test Engineer
The first interview was with HR. They talked about the job, requirements, and salary/benefits to see if it was a good fit. If I passed that, I had an in-person interview with the Lead and Manager.

DevOps Engineer
It was a pretty standard tech interview process. I went through 3 rounds: HR, Tech, and managerial. After I passed all of them and they gave me an offer letter with a start date, which I signed, they came back saying they didn't have the budget right now and had to put the role on hold. This was a wild experience since I had already ended my current lease and given my notice to my employer to relocate for this job, and all I got was an apology saying 'Unfortunately, the position was just eliminated for reasons that are strictly financial. There is no other reason. It has nothing to do with your personal or professional credentials. We will not be filling the position at all.' I've never had anything like this happen before. I had to rearrange so many things after they told me this. I probably won't apply with them again.
- Can you describe the SDLC?
- Tell me about CI/CD pipelines.
- What about automation?
Customer Success Manager
It was thorough, educational, and rewarding. I went through 7 virtual rounds. I met with my Manager, the District Manager, and the Sales Enablement Manager. They asked a lot about my work ethic, personality, client etiquette, and experience. I also had to do a virtual presentation. I really understood what the job expected and got a feel for the team and company culture. Even though it was all virtual, I felt connected to everyone from the first week of training. The company really makes you feel welcome. I'd suggest being super intuitive and asking lots of questions. My manager was really thorough, and I asked a ton of questions too, so it went well. I didn't accept until all my logistical questions were answered. And definitely remember to FOLLOW UP! This job is demanding, and I can only imagine how hard it is to hire someone while balancing our workload. My strategy was to keep following up until they told me to stop, and I still do that now. If you can't follow up and genuinely work to get the job, you won't be able to keep it.
- Show me the products you used to represent at your last job.
Client Service Representative
I saw the job posting on craigslist and sent in my resume. I got an email back asking me to provide three different time slots on three different days to speak with the manager. I replied right away with my availability. After four days with no response, I received another email apologizing for the delay and asking for my availability again. I sent that in, and the next day I had a phone interview, which was pretty straightforward. The day after that, I was invited for an onsite interview. Four people interviewed me, and they seemed really nice. One of the managers mentioned that they all liked me, but I never heard back after that. I emailed the manager, and he said they'd extend an offer, but that was the last I heard.
- What's your approach to dealing with an angry customer?
- Are you available to work overtime hours?
