Good interview. Relaxed, just be yourself. Everybody seemed pretty genuine and it’s a great way to meet everybody in their office and ask as many questions as you can. Rotated between different people in the office between project managers, vice president and superintendent.

It kicked off on LinkedIn and through online applications. I had a virtual interview, followed by a couple of phone calls. Then, I had an in-person with the same person I did the virtual interview with. Upper management couldn't make it, and the interviewer was a bit late. I was told repeatedly they 'fully intended' on making an offer. I took an assessment test to get the offer, but later that week, I got a generic email saying they 'decided to go a different direction.' The whole process felt a bit disorganized.

This company's interview process was really unprofessional. They wouldn't reschedule for a later date or do a virtual interview even though I wasn't in town. I had to make a long day trip, which was fine, but they didn't reply to my follow-ups. The interview itself was okay, a casual lunch where they asked about my resume. Then, they ghosted me. I sent two follow-up emails and called, but the hiring manager ignored them all. If you're going to make me drive for hours, the least you could do is send a rejection email. Glad I didn't end up working here.
