Project Manager
The interview process was really thorough, involving several chats with managers at different levels. They asked a wide variety of questions and gave a lot of detail about what would be expected in the role.
- Can you tell me about a challenging situation outside of your professional life that you helped to resolve?
Project Assistant
I had a phone interview with a recruiter from the region, and then an in-person interview about 3-4 weeks later. They also did a drug test and checked with most of my contacts. It was a pretty standard interview process with typical questions, nothing unexpected.
- What qualities make an ideal supervisor?
Project Manager
I applied online in October 2016 and got a call in January 2017 for an HR screening. After no response for over a week, I followed up. Then, a telephonic interview was set with a VP, which went well. He said they'd call for a face-to-face by the next week. After another week with no response and a follow-up, the recruiter said it would take two more weeks to set up the face-to-face. No response after that time frame. I followed up again. Another telecon was set for the following week with the Area Leader and VP of HR. During the telecon, the HR rep asked for my salary expectations, which were within their range. No response for over two weeks. The HR rep then called about a different job with the same salary range, which I declined. The whole experience felt disconnected with internal politics, making me not want to join the company.
- Can you tell me how your experience aligns with the requirements of this role?
