My interview process started with a combined interview with a manager and a director at the same time. After that, I was invited for a second interview with the VP/Corporate Controller. Both interviews were conversational. While I didn't get the job, the leaders seemed supportive and were looking for a finance/accounting professional with strong technical skills.

I applied online. The whole process took about 4 days. I interviewed at HMS Host in October 2013. Most of the questions were on a sheet in front of me, which gave me more time to answer. The manager and HR were very friendly. The only thing I didn't like was the waiting time. The first interview had about a 20-minute wait, and the interviewer kept disappearing. However, she was very helpful when I asked questions. For the second interview with HR, I waited almost an hour.
