Architectural Project Manager
First there was a call about the job, then we confirmed the interview date and time. I also had to fill out some forms beforehand. The interview was supposed to be in their office but it got cut short because they misplaced the job description.
- Tell me about yourself.
- What motivated you to enter this field?
Project Manager
The hiring process was really good and worked with my schedule since I'm currently employed. I had one interview with two managing principals. They seemed really interested in meeting me and asked questions about my management style and past work. They also asked specific questions to assess my skills. It was clear they had reviewed my resume and put thought into their questions, as they were precise and led to good discussions. They were very accommodating, and it felt like a mutual interview where they were also trying to impress me, rather than a test.
- Given that 'Project Manager' on your resume can have various interpretations, what do you consider the core responsibilities of a Project Manager, and can you provide examples from your recent experience that illustrate these responsibilities?
Architect
The interview happened online in two parts. The first interview had two employees, and it was a nice chat about my professional background and education. The second interview also had three employees, but only one of them spoke. The questions were superficial and didn't show much interest in my professional background or career. It wasn't a good conversation.
- Can you discuss your previous work experiences?
- What is your level of knowledge in various software applications?
- What are your aspirations for your career?
Executive Assistant
I applied online. HR reached out via email to set up a phone interview where I was asked 5-7 questions. After that, they emailed me again to invite me for an in-person interview with a panel.
- What makes you want this particular job?
- Describe what you seek in an organization's leadership.
