Human Resources Business Partner
I got the interview invite from the ATS, and I was able to pick my preferred time slot through the system. The first step was a phone interview with the recruiter, which lasted about 20-30 minutes. They asked regular questions, mainly focusing on my past relevant experience.
- Can you tell me about yourself?
- What made you interested in this position?
- What's your experience with Employee Relations?
Internal Communications Manager
I went through a few steps for an internal communications position: a first phone chat with the recruiter, then a second video call with her and my future manager. After those two, I was given a final in-person test at their Valence office (which I felt should have been done earlier). I traveled from Pau at my own expense (which wasn't cheap), and when I got there, things were pretty disorganized: they were 30 minutes late, no materials were ready for the test, and no equipment was provided (I used my own laptop). Since then, I haven't heard anything back, not even a closing message. It's pretty disappointing, especially for a role that's supposed to embody communication, employee experience, and employer branding values. It makes you question if their stated values match the reality internally.
- How do you handle task delegation and supervision of an intern or apprentice?
Coordenador Comercial
The interviews seem promising, but recruiters disappear after the interview. There's no feedback. Even though there's alignment with the role, it seems they're afraid of disappointing the candidate. Just thanking for the participation and saying they opted for someone else would be enough. Waiting for months is much worse for the candidate than receiving a rejection. It's a lack of respect for the candidate.
- What is your level of experience with the culture?
- Are you willing to relocate?
Lab Technician
The interview process involved two rounds. First, there was a remote interview with HR, and the second was an in-person meeting with the department head. The questions were direct and focused on how your goals align with the company's. It was a calm environment. Just be confident and assertive in your responses.
- What knowledge do you have about our company?
- Can you describe instances where you've taken on leadership responsibilities?
- Could you introduce yourself?
