After driving 6-8 hours for the interview, I never heard back from them. I followed up with an email, but got no response at all. While I appreciate the opportunity, this experience really showed me a lot about their culture and how they treat people.

The interview process was pretty straightforward. I initially connected with Jacqui from HR at Virginia Tech, and she took my resume. About three weeks later, I was invited for an interview. Due to weather issues, I had to reschedule my initial interview for the following Monday. The interview day itself was relaxed, with ample time for candidates to ask questions. We started by touring a job site in Arlington, VA, with a view of the Pentagon. There, we had the chance to speak directly with the on-site Project Engineer to get a real feel for the job responsibilities. Following that, we had an informal lunch with two current entry-level employees. The afternoon involved a series of round-robin interviews with three different Project Managers/VPs. A great aspect of their process is that they hold these interviews monthly, and decisions are typically communicated with offers sent out that same Friday.
