Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Hitachi Energy.
Supplier Quality Engineer
The interview process started with a joint interview involving HR and the Team Lead. This was followed by a second interview where HR, the Team Lead, and the Department Lead were present. During these interviews, they began with general personal questions and then moved on to questions related to the job and required skills. The company, Hitachi Energy, was not presented.
- Tell me about your previous experience and why you believe you are the most suitable candidate for this role.
Quality Engineer
The interview process was decent. Round 1 was a Technical Online interview with the Chennai operation head and overseas quality manager. Round 2 was a Technical and General Online interview with the Vice president and HR manager from Bangalore and Kerala office. Round 3 was Face to Face in Chennai with the Overseas Global quality head and operations head. Each round was about 40mins. Even though everything went well and I felt very confident, they never told me the results, didn't pick up calls, and didn't reply to emails. It all ended with no results, which was a poor response.
- Can you describe your current roles and responsibilities at your company?
- Could you tell us about a project you've undertaken at your company?
- What specific improvements have you implemented within your company?
Quality Assurance Engineer
The interview process was pretty smooth. The first round was with HR and it went well. Then I had a technical second round. HR told me to wait for them to get back to me, so I'm just waiting for now, but I'm also looking at other jobs.
