My first interview was a phone call with the CEO, scheduled for 30 minutes but ended up running 65 minutes. Then I was invited for a second, in-person interview that lasted 4.5 hours with several people, including the company founder. The in-person interviews went well, and I felt good about it. Three days later, I was asked to provide two references as the last step. My references were never contacted, and I didn't hear back from the company, even after I followed up after the second interview.

It was an in person interview process at HistoWiz. I interviewed for three different positions at the same time. I spoke with HR, the Director of Lab, the Lab Manager, and some Lab Staff. I spoke with each person separately, and each interview had a different duration.

This was a weird interview. A recruiter got me in to meet the CEO. The CEO asked some questions that were kinda illegal or just not great. I never heard back about how it went. If this is how they interview everyone, they really need to work on their interview training.
