Recruiter call

I had an interview scheduled a couple of years back for a role that aligned with my research background. I was really familiar with the archives for this project. Unfortunately, the interviewer didn't show up for the Zoom call. I reached out to my contacts twice after that, saying I understood if it was a mistake. I never heard back, so I moved on. About a year later, the person they hired for the job started contacting me on social media for info about the archives and asked for my unpublished work multiple times. I eventually told this person to just read my dissertation. Now, I'm seeing my research appear on their social media without any credit. This whole experience makes me feel like this company hires inexperienced historians.

It was a skype interview with three employees. They asked a lot about my process in the archives, researching and writing. The whole thing took a little over thirty minutes. It was pretty casual. The three people who interviewed me were really nice. They also asked about past research endeavors. You'll need to be ready to talk about your past research experience and describe it in detail. They'll ask why you picked a certain topic, so have an answer ready. Give specifics.

Behavioral Group

Started with a 30-minute phone call with two senior managers where they asked specific questions about my research and writing experience. Then, the HR manager invited me to Rockville for an in-person interview. The in-person part was a group interview with two senior managers again, lasting about an hour. I got the offer at the end of the interview.
