First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Hirewell.
Technical Recruiter
The recruiter and account executive were nice and gave good info about the job at first. But after I talked to the hiring manager, they went quiet for about a week. I had to chase them for updates. When I did get replies, they were vague and not very clear. I was told I'd hear back "tomorrow" a lot, but that never happened. The whole thing felt like it took too long, with bad communication and no real feedback. It was annoying and made me feel bad about the process.

Product Marketing Manager
I found out about this job through a leader I'd been following on LinkedIn for about 6 months. There were about 5 interviews, including a phone screen and meetings with people from relevant teams and leadership. The whole process was pretty clear and easy to understand. It took around 2 months from the first interview until I got the offer.
- Can you tell me about a successful product launch you managed?
- Describe challenges you've encountered while marketing SaaS products and your strategies to resolve them.
- Do you see talent acquisition as a suitable industry for your career path?
Another Company
It was a pretty straightforward process, I had 5 interviews in total, one of which was with the CIO. However, Hirewell took weeks to get back to me with any feedback. I tried reaching out to them multiple times but never got a response. I didn't get the job in the end, which is fine, but I was really hoping for some feedback. Their lack of response to my requests for updates is just unprofessional, and I'll definitely be avoiding Hirewell in the future.
- Have you previously worked in the insurance industry?
Candidate Interviewer
I talked to the recruiter on the phone first. They asked about me and my job history and what I'm doing now. Then I met them in person a few days later and we talked for a bit before I met their manager. The recruiter and the manager were both really nice and made me feel comfortable. The manager asked me about my current job experience and how I could use that in the role. They also asked about my personality, how I work with people, and if I'd ever had a conflict with a coworker and how I dealt with it.
- The questions weren't particularly hard or surprising.
