The interview process was really great! The recruiter, Annette, kept me informed, responded quickly, and was very helpful and involved the whole way through. I had a few phone interviews, and then they invited me to visit the OK facility and meet about 5 people there, including my future manager. It was a good mix of standard behavior and situational questions, and they mostly kept the conversations casual, discussing scenarios related to our industry.

The process started with a good recruiter call, very personable and responsive. Then, I had a great interview with two team members who did a deep dive into my background, asked good questions, and wanted to know me as a person and professional. It was challenging but gave a good sense of the role and the collaborative culture. However, the next interview with directors was a completely different experience. First, they stood me up, and when it was rescheduled, the tone was not a 'culture conversation' as expected. It became a rapid-fire resume dissection instead of an authentic discussion. The lack of warmth, clarity, and communication left a bad impression. I felt uncomfortable and unprepared because it wasn't what I was advised, and the team's culture seemed different from the earlier impression. There also seemed to be a disconnect between the recruiter and leadership about role expectations and compensation, with a surprisingly large salary range variance. After reflecting, I realized this wasn't the team or environment for me, so I withdrew.

I was referred by an employee. The recruiter had a very positive interview with me and thought I was a good fit because I previously worked for a competitor. Then I was interviewed by the Director, who didn't seem very interested in interviewing me. The recruiter called me two days later, apologized, and said they wouldn't be moving forward because they were already far along with other candidates.
