Behavioral Presentation

I had a contract interview with Hiregenics, and they were great to work with. The interview process itself was excellent. I went through two rounds of interviews with different managers on the team. I was really impressed by their leadership style and their commitment to improving team structure and processes, and I was eager to get started.

We did an initial chat, then I had a phone call with the CEO. Since we already knew each other from before, they didn't really need to ask about my background. It was mostly about talking through the possibilities for this specific business model.

Behavioral Technical

I went through 4-5 phone interviews. It was pretty easy but took a lot of time and they didn't really seem to care about my time. After the fifth phone interview, they said I'd be coming in for an in-person 'final round.' I got really excited and planned my travel and everything, but then I never heard back. Not a word. The hiring manager was really autocratic, dictatorial, and super arrogant. Very old-fashioned and didn't seem up-to-date with current strategic governance. He was inept, conceited, and not very knowledgeable. Maybe had some bias. So even though it looked like a great opportunity, the unprofessional behavior of the hiring manager really messed it up. People like that really bring down an otherwise progressive organization. So potential interviewees, be very careful. It might not be what you think. Pretty bad overall.
