Client Delivery Lead
The interview process generally involves an initial screening after applying, followed by in-depth interviews, and then an offer and onboarding. The process can differ based on the level of the position and whether it's an internal or external opening. Overall, it felt like a fair and impartial process.
- How do you approach building relationships with clients?

I was contacted by Matrix on LinkedIn about an offer from one of their clients. Although I was interested in a different role than the one they initially presented, I was promptly given offer details and could start the application process right away. The Matrix staff were very professional. They did a quick and friendly phone screening to get a feel for my personality and made the whole thing feel relaxed. They were helpful when the company I applied to seemed slow with updates on the next steps. My Matrix reps stepped in, found out what was happening, and let me know. I really valued their dedication.
- What aspects of this company appeal to you and why?
- How well do you think you'd integrate into their team?
IT Analyst
The interview process involved a phone call and an in-person follow-up. I spoke with the staff at Hired by Matrix, and they were very friendly and helpful. They then set up an interview with the company, which was quick, short, and to the point. We asked each other many questions, mostly about the company's current situation and its future goals.
- Do you feel good about the job description?
- Are you interested in this opportunity?
.NET CRM Developer
I had a call with a recruiter, who seemed really clueless and like he hated his job. I wish he'd never reached out. He had a really negative vibe, and claimed he was juggling multiple things while we spoke. These recruiters don't seem to know how to build lasting relationships with candidates. They only look for very specific skills, which makes me think they work with companies that don't offer much in terms of learning or growth.
