Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Hiossen.
Sales Associate
It was a pretty chill and fast interview. They talked about the training and what the job entails. They emphasized that you need to be motivated and put in the work, and that prior medical sales experience isn't necessary. It's a good starting point for recent grads who want to break into medical sales.
- Why were you interested in this role?
Sales Associate
I had a few short interviews, they were pretty easy but not super friendly. First, there was a short phone interview, then a video interview, and finally an in-person interview. They were all decently easy, but I was a bit unsure if I'd get a call back because the interviewer seemed skeptical. They asked questions like if I can speak another language and what I know about the company.
- How do you define sales?
Sales Associate
They emailed me to set up a video interview with an HR employee about a week after I applied online. Even though the position that I applied for was entry level, I did not feel that the interviewer was welcome to an entry level candidate.
- What makes you think you'll be successful in B2B sales, given your lack of experience?
