Associate Product Manager
The recruiter communication was okay, but the overall process felt really disorganized. It took them 2-3 weeks to get back to me after each stage. It started with an HR call, but the initial recruiter ghosted, and it took another recruiter two weeks to follow up. Then, they sent over a project/case study for a market they're looking to enter. The last step was a virtual onsite with three product managers, covering behavioral, product sense, and technical topics. I ended up waiting over two weeks for the final decision.
- Can you explain the function of an API?
Product Manager
Started with calls with the Hiring Manager and Recruiter to talk about the job and what to expect in the interviews, also did a screening. Then I had an onsite case study with people from Product, Design, and Engineering, followed by a final behavioral onsite with the Hiring Manager. Got the offer about a week after the onsite.
- Could you present a product case study involving Product Management, Design, and Engineering?
Product Manager
The interview process was really professional. The recruiter kept me in the loop, was supportive, and genuine, always letting me know what to expect. I had several calls with the hiring manager because he wanted to make sure I had enough time to ask my questions. After passing the initial calls, it was the typical PM interview case study/design challenge. While they were testing my skills, the vibe was more chatty and collaborative compared to other tech companies. They didn't ask me to use my current manager as a reference, but they do ask for manager references (as expected), and you get to choose who to provide. It's clear this company values its employees.
- Can you design an app experience for people who've been injured while working out?
