Got an initial call from HR. Then the reporting manager reached out and scheduled a face-to-face interview at Radio One's office in Camp region. RJ Aayush conducted the interview, he was really friendly. He looked at my portfolio and how I approach marketing copy. I also met with the company chief for an interview.

The interview had two main rounds. The first round covered basic DSA, how NodeJs works internally, and ReactJs basics. I was given a choice between a dev and a DSA focus, and since I was comfortable with both, I was asked questions on both topics. The second round was about system design basics. The interviews were helpful, and I received an offer, but unfortunately, I couldn't join for some reasons.

The recruiter told me the budget was 21-25 LPA, and I said okay. But they kept asking about my current salary, which felt weird. The first interview was with a senior PM, covering my product experience and PM approach, plus a case study. I had enough time for the case study, even though it was long. The second interview was about the case study and my past product work. Both were rescheduled, and the interviewers were late, making me take two extra days off. After the interview, HR was slow with feedback. Then they said my profile was on hold and they were looking at others. The next day, I was invited for an in-office interview. I asked HR for clear communication and responsiveness before agreeing. I asked if the salary range was still good and if they'd be communicative. A few hours later, she said the budget was 12-13 LPA, a 50% cut. They didn't explain why, which felt like a lie. This budget change without clear planning showed a lack of clarity in their hiring. The constant changes, reschedules, and salary drop made me doubt their commitment to hiring or their interview process.
