Breakfast Attendant
The interview process was pretty laid-back. It started with a brief 15-minute phone screening, followed by a 30-minute in-person interview that included a tour. After that, they had me come in for two paid training days, which were essentially just a normal workday.
- Can you tell me about your background in food service?
Front Desk Agent
It was a really quick interview process. I went in person and they asked me a couple of questions about dealing with disagreements and my ability to work independently. I was offered the job right then and there and started the next day. Hotels really need people, you know.
- Tell me about your previous experience.
- Describe how you'd manage a customer dispute.
- Can you work effectively without direct supervision?
Team Member
The interview included personal questions about your motivation to work at the company and your availability. They specifically asked about your schedule, any days you can't work, and your willingness to work rotating weekend shifts, which are mandatory. The role is mainly focused on customer service.
- What makes you want to join our team?
- Could you describe your general availability and work schedule?
- Are there any specific days you are unavailable to work?
Front Desk Agent
I arrived ten minutes early for my interview. The receptionist told me the supervisor was out on a bank run. I waited for another half hour and they never showed up. No call or email. They didn't communicate anything. It really shows a lack of time management and makes me question how they value their employees' time. I sent a follow-up email offering to do a phone interview if they were still interested, but I haven't heard back.
- We did not get very far into the interview process.
