First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Hilti Group.
Sales Consultant
The hiring process started with submitting my resume on the company's career page. After an initial review, I had a virtual interview with a recruiter. The whole thing, from applying to the interview, wrapped up in under two weeks.
- What makes you want to work in sales?
- Tell me a little about yourself.
- What methodologies do you employ for managing client portfolios?
Sales Consultant
The application process and recruiting were very professional, but unfortunately with an unpleasant aftertaste (personal opinion). Several claims were made about my well-being during the conversation that were not true. For example, it was repeatedly claimed during and after the conversation that I was nervous, despite me repeatedly denying it. Maybe it was a test, who knows.
- Describe yourself with two adjectives.
Sales Consultant
I applied online for the field sales consultant position. After about 1.5 weeks, I received an email inviting me to a phone interview in three days. The call felt like a typical job interview. They asked about details from my resume, then asked why I applied to Hilti and why I want to go into sales. Overall, it was a very friendly conversation that lasted 20 minutes. I was then invited on the spot for an in-person interview at a Hilti Center in 4 weeks.
- Was waren die Gründe für die Beendigung Ihrer Selbstständigkeit?
- Welche Überlegungen führten Sie nach Ihrer Ausbildung zur Fachhochschule?
- Was hat Sie zu Hilti bewogen?
