First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Hilti Group.
Technical Engineer
The whole hiring process took 4 months, which was a really long time. I had 8 interviews in total with HR, PMs, and other engineers. It started with a phone call, then a group assessment with a business case involving 4 people. After that, I had 6 more interviews that all seemed to cover the same topics and questions. I kept getting good feedback, and Hilti seemed interested in moving forward. However, in the end, after one last positive interview, I got an email saying they'd found a better candidate for the role. I asked for feedback more than 3 weeks ago but haven't heard back. Honestly, applying to NASA might have been faster and more efficient.

Design Engineer
The first interview was a video call where we talked about my background. Then, for the second interview, I was given a mechanics topic a few days prior. I had to prepare and give a presentation about it to a panel of engineers and the HR head, explaining it as if they had no prior knowledge of the field.
