Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Hill & Knowlton.
Consultant
They emailed me to set up an intro call and had an online calendar to do so. The call was on Teams and lasted about 15 mins. They outlined the role, requirements, and asked a couple questions. They said they would connect with the hiring team and get back to me but never did.
- Can you tell me why you're interested in Hill & Knowlton?
- What are your career goals and what do you hope to gain from this position?
- What are your salary expectations for this role?
Consultant
It was a good interview experience overall. We had an engaging conversation. Most questions were about my interest and experience, and I had time to elaborate and build rapport with the interviewer. The interviewer also gave good insight into team culture and how accounts are run/managed.
- How does your working style contribute to team and account management?
Consultant
The interview process kicked off with a meeting with the senior manager, followed by a case study exercise. After that, there was a second interview with the director and general manager. Assuming everything went well, HR would then conduct a background check and reach out to two references.
- Tell me about yourself.
- What's your motivation for joining HK Strategies?
- On a scale of one to ten, how would you assess your skills in [ability]?
