First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Hill Air Force Base.
Systems Engineer
It was the typical interview process. I talked to one person who asked the usual questions. They were professional and really dug into things. Nothing about it was particularly special or super hard.
- Can you explain the V-Model and provide examples of how you've applied it?
Software Engineer
The interview process was pretty laid back, with no major technical questions. They were mainly looking to see if you're a good fit and if you know what you're talking about. They asked general questions here and there, and one behavioral question to see how you'd respond.
- How many gas stations do you think a city needs, considering its size and population?
Program Manager
Horrible interview process. You walk into a room with 3-6 people. They hand you your questions and you have 15 min to respond to all of them. They aren't allowed to interact with you or ask you questions. They just sit quietly and write down everything you said.
- Were you asked any behavioral based interview questions? Did you answer in the S.T.A.R. format?
Software Intern
When I entered, the 2 interviewers were super polite and professional. I felt respected. They gave me space to think about the questions and were very nice and understanding. The interview wrapped up with friendly chat.
- Can you describe a time you faced a technical challenge?
