I had a phone screen with the attorney, who seemed very interested and said my qualifications were more than they expected to find. She asked me to let her know before accepting other offers and quickly set up a follow-up meeting with the other attorneys. The in-person meeting seemed to go well, though my anxiety might have made me say something awkward. I waited a few days, then emailed HR and the attorney. HR didn't reply, but the attorney emailed a week later saying she was behind and would follow up. Then I was ghosted, which wasn't very professional.

Behavioral Technical

The interview process included a phone screening and two in-office interviews. The initial phone screen was straightforward, featuring typical behavioral and skill-based questions. The first in-office interview started about 20 minutes late. I was given an office tour, and then two managers and two department members joined to ask basic questions. It took two weeks to get a response for a second interview, despite sending a follow-up email. The second interview was similar, meeting with several managers and department members. After sending a thank-you email, I was asked for salary requirements and other details. It took another two weeks to hear back. Red flags to note for future candidates: They were unclear about benefits and salary range, even when asked. They expected someone in a CSR role to handle project manager duties for a CSR salary, apparently finding the requested $38-39k too high. Communication was incredibly slow, with responses delayed due to 'business travel,' which is concerning for a property management company where promptness is key.

Behavioral Technical

First a recruiter from HR called to schedule a phone interview with the accounting team. During the phone interview, they asked about my skills, experience, and resume. Then I had a face to face interview scheduled. In the face to face, they didn't really dig into my background or experience much. It was more about getting to know me as a candidate. There were 3 rounds in total, because there were two divisions hiring for an accountant and I met with each division without realizing it. The last round was with the Director and CAO, who were very nice and personable. I think if the CAO doesn't show up, you probably aren't getting the job.

Behavioral Technical Presentation

First, there was a phone interview with the hiring manager. It was just basic questions, nothing too complicated. Then, I was invited for a 3-hour in-person interview with about 6 different people. The first person I met was nice, but he asked a lot of personal questions, like 'where do you live' and 'what family do you have'. It felt like a 'getting to know you' kind of thing. After that, three members of the team interviewed me, and two of them seemed a bit too serious. Then came the hiring manager, who didn't smile at all. He asked me to do a project beforehand and expected me to know all the answers, even though he knew I had no experience in commercial real estate. Finally, a senior analyst who was nice asked me some questions that pretty much everyone else had already asked. It wasn't a great experience overall, and it felt like not everyone had prepared their questions. I don't think I'd accept an offer if I got one, but I doubt I will anyway.
