The process was pretty standard with three rounds. The first round focused on your past work experience and how well you understand a recent product, and it had 3-4 interviewers. The second round involved discussing projects, and you got to choose which ones. This also had a panel of 3-4 people, and in my case, it was the same folks as the first round. I think the third round was an assignment with a presentation. The second round was a bit tough for me because the interviewers were very solution-focused. During a product improvement case study, one asked why a solution wasn't built earlier. For an insurance-tech case study focused on customers, some interviewers were more concerned about the insurance companies, which made me question their customer empathy. Another case study I presented was about first-day uninstalls, but surprisingly, they focused on an unrelated metric with many variables. It seems like you have to align with their project management and solution preferences. If you approach things with a customer and problem-first mindset, you'll likely run into ego issues. A tip: Ask the TA for a good mix of product people and to include a senior person for the role you're applying for. If you're genuinely interested in solving problems, this might not be the company, at least based on my interview.

Recruiter was easy to work with and interviews were scheduled right on time. There were 3 stages in total, and unfortunately, I didn't make it to the next rounds. The company's work looks interesting. I hope they'll provide feedback in the future, as it was missing this time.

Behavioral Technical Presentation

The interview process had a total of 3 rounds. The first round was about problem-solving, the second was a project discussion, and there was also an assignment. I made it to the second round. After the second discussion, we both realized that my previous experience wasn't quite what the company was looking for in this role.

Confirmed questions3 questions
  • In the first round, they typically ask about your past experiences and want you to discuss a product you like.
  • What would you change if you were the Product Manager for this product?
  • In the second round, discuss one of your projects in detail.
