Technology Operations Manager
Started with a telephonic screening about my current role, why I want to leave, and what I'm looking for. Then had a first interview with HR and the Hiring Manager focusing on competency and company fit. The final interview was with the CEO, after which came the offer stage.
- In what ways can you leverage technology to achieve operational objectives?
Research Assistant
The process took a while and had several parts. The questions seemed straightforward, but the standards for success weren't clear. I wouldn't really suggest it. Also, they were later than they said they would be in getting back to me.
- You will need to finish a written assessment.
Marketing Director
The interview process involved six rounds spread out over a month. A lot of time was spent meeting the team, but after the last round, I learned they were putting the hiring on hold because they weren't sure what they wanted for the role. This felt unprofessional and like a waste of my time. Also, when I asked about challenges within the company, there wasn't much transparency, which struck me as a red flag. My advice is to have a clear plan for the role's requirements before you start looking for candidates and be upfront about the job, the team's culture, and any difficulties. This would really help build trust and attract good people.
- Tell me about a time you didn't meet a goal and explain how you handled it.
Communications Manager
The interview process started with a phone call, and then I had an in-person interview where I needed to present a communications plan for the department. It all took about a month, and then I got the job offer.
