So I had this interview, and the first Zoom meeting, like, nobody showed up. I waited 30 minutes, and then I got an email saying she was stuck in another meeting, so I rescheduled. For the second meeting, she was late, and then she basically offered me the job on the spot. But then, like, three days later, I got an email saying thanks but no thanks because of all the other qualified people. Super unprofessional vibe.

I had two interview rounds. The first was on Zoom and the second will be in person. I'm still waiting to hear back about the second one.

Behavioral Technical Presentation

I was contacted via email to set up an interview. It was a 1:1 with someone who I think was the CEO. The office was nice and people were mostly in a common area. We looked at my portfolio on his laptop. He seemed most interested in how I'd handle criticism from clients. They also asked about my experience with Squarespace. The interviewer was nice, and I wish I'd gotten the job, but they felt my portfolio was too thin.

Behavioral Technical

I had two separate interviews with two of the three partners, as I was being considered for two positions. Each interview was an hour long. After each interview, I was told they would be in touch. A week after my second interview, I sent a follow-up and thank-you email to one of the partners. He contacted me back to say they hadn't reached a decision yet and that he would be away on vacation the following week. He assured me that upon his return and after reconvening with his fellow partners to make a decision, he would let me know either way. Over two months have passed, and I've heard nothing. This process was obviously disorganized on their part. The lack of communication shows a complete disregard for a qualified applicant's time and energy. It's difficult to schedule interviews, especially hour-long ones, when you're currently employed.
