It was thorough. I had a team interview with the leader and some team members. Afterward, I got to talk one-on-one with individual team members about team dynamics. They asked typical questions like what would you do in a situation or tell me about a time.

I'm trying to get a better understanding of this interview process before I commit to moving forward. It seems quite drawn out, and the waiting periods have been longer than what feels necessary. The communication throughout this process really needs to be improved.

Initially, they asked some questions about my resume, and then for about 10 minutes, they went through some set questions about my working style, knowledge of policy, how I handle conflict, and similar topics.

A recruiter reached out via email after seeing my resume online. I replied expressing interest, and she scheduled a brief phone interview for a couple days later. The call lasted about 30 minutes, covering my management experience and motivations for joining the company. Following that, the director contacted me within a week to arrange an in-person interview for the same day because the district VP was visiting. The onsite interview included the VP, the director, and an unintroduced but seemingly important lady. It was a really positive experience; everyone was friendly. They mentioned that good communication and demonstrating how your background fits the role are key. The VP called a few days later with a job offer.
