Director of Learning and Development
It was a phone interview with HR, then the hiring manager, HR business partner, and two staff members. After that, I had an in-person interview with three cross-functional leaders and the hiring manager. Overall, it wasn’t a bad experience. Everyone was professional and treated me respectfully.
- Can you describe what excellent L&D entails and outline your approach for the first year of onboarding?
Client Support Representative
The interview process for a Client Support Representative in healthcare usually involves an application review, a phone screening, some kind of skills assessment, interviews either in person or via video that will focus on customer service scenarios, reference checks, and then a Job Offer.
- Can you start by telling me about yourself and your background?
- What about working in the healthcare sector interests you?
- What makes you want to work for our company?
Senior Xamarin Developer
The interview process was really long. It started with a chat with the team lead, who was really nice and respectful, asking general and soft skills questions. Then, I had an interview with the database lead, which felt a bit odd, focusing on general SQL questions. The third interview, which took place at 9 PM my time, involved someone from their time zone asking questions that seemed to be directly from a Google search, and in the same sequence. The whole thing took about two weeks. Finally, they told me they couldn't process my visa type, which was frustrating since they didn't mention it earlier, making it a waste of my time.
- Can you find the questions on the internet?
Account Executive
I had phone calls with 2 recruiters from a firm, which also included a questionnaire. After that, there was a phone interview with the SVP sales / marketing. The next step would've been an in-person interview and mock presentation. The sales leader was very particular and caught up in the numbers, didn't ask anything about my success/weaknesses in previous sales roles and the phone interview was going south. He didn't want me to come in, which I didn't mind because we weren't clicking on a business level. When it was my turn to ask questions, he was giving me one word answers, or not answering them at all.
- Could you tell me about the number of sales and the average deal size?
- What is the typical sales cycle like?
