Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Hexagon.
Application Engineer
First, a recruiter called me to discuss my profile. Then, I had a remote interview, followed by a technical interview with the team. I got the impression that they themselves weren't entirely clear about the specifics of the role, like the number of products, but the salary package was within the expected range.
- What is your current salary range?
Application Engineer
Had a phone interview with the department head. A few days later, I had an in-person interview with the department head. Once the position was accepted and terms were agreed upon, we finalized the contract.
- What is your general knowledge of the industrial sector?
- Tell me about your previous experiences.
- What are your skills with design software?
Applications Engineer Intern
I had an interview with the Apps manager, and it was a really friendly and laidback experience. He spoke about what a typical day on the job looks like and the things I'd learn during the internship. There were just some simple interpersonal questions, no technical ones at all.
- Could you tell me a bit about yourself?
