First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Hero Practice Services.
AR Specialist
It was a two-step interview process. It was remote. First, I had a call with a recruiter. Then, I interviewed with two hiring managers. After that, there was a final interview with the supervisor. Everyone was really friendly and the process was pretty straightforward. After the second interview, I got a call with the job offer.
- Could you explain what a copay is?
- What about coinsurance?
Vision Technician
The interview process was pretty straightforward and mainly focused on understanding my alignment with the company's core values. They also asked some situational questions. There were two interviewers, and they wanted to get a sense of my personal values. It’s a good idea to do some prep work before the interview. Dress code is business casual.
- Can you share an example of a time you displayed integrity?
- What would you do if your values clashed with a work rule?
- Walk me through a situation where you had to make a tough choice about ethics.
Care Scheduling Coordinator
I had a brief phone chat before meeting in person. The recruiter didn't ask too many questions and couldn't answer some of mine about the call center size or call volume. Then I met the trainer, who was really nice and had a list of questions he took notes on. He let me ask questions too. He mentioned there are levels and you can get promoted after just 6 months if you have perfect attendance for two months and meet metrics. By the end, I got the job offer.

Dental Assistant
They reached out via email to set up a phone chat and were quite pleasant. However, the initial salary they offered wasn't appealing to me since I already have some experience. This role might be a better fit for individuals aiming to get their foot in the door and who don't have many financial obligations.
- What are your salary expectations?
