First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Heritage Insurance.
Internal Auditor
I had several interviews with the executives, some in person and some virtual. It was a long process, and everyone I met was professional, polite, and knew their stuff. It was a good experience overall, but I passed because my situation changed after I started the interview process.
- How do you handle working with people who are resistant to change?
Associate Underwriter
The interview process was untimely and highly disorganized. It took approximately a month and a half which included a phone interview and two in person interviews. In both office interviews no transcription of candidate information took place, but I was assured the company needed someone ASAP and they would get back to me very soon. It wasn’t until I called several weeks after the final interview to find out if the position had been filled which is when they finally notified me by email it had. I didn’t even receive the courtesy of a phone call telling me this. This company assured me there were no remote positions but mentioned in their email that they had filled one. The whole process was very dishonest and misleading.
No confirmed questions were included in this interview report.
Paralegal
The interview process was straightforward and quick, conducted entirely online. The recruiter was very open about the benefits and costs. The company maintained good communication and extended an offer promptly. The onboarding process was efficient and informative.
- What is your experience as a paralegal?
- What is your experience in the legal field?
Staff Counsel
I interviewed for a legal staff counsel role. I spoke with two attorneys who were very professional and nice. They had my resume and clearly read it beforehand. They asked good questions and I felt comfortable talking with them.
- Can you tell me why you are looking to leave your current job?
