The interview process was very efficient. You hear back really quickly if they want to hire you. After the first round of interviews, I got the call for the 2nd round of interviews within a week. The 2nd round of interviews was onsite.

Behavioral Presentation

The interview process was straightforward, but the hiring managers really paid attention to interview skills because the job involves training others in interview and job search skills. So, they had high expectations for my interviewing ability. It was a two-round interview. The first round was with two supervisors, and the second was with the program team, who would be my future coworkers. I was fortunate to find some materials from the program itself on effective interview skills. Even though the interviewers were friendly and seemed genuinely interested in discussing my compatibility, there was definitely pressure to do exceptionally well considering the nature of the job.

After I submitted my resume and cover letter, the Program Coordinator emailed me about a group interview. So, in the group interview, which had about 6 candidates, the Program Coordinator and Administrative Assistant told us about the program and what the job involved. Then, each of us had to quickly say why we'd be a good fit for the program. After that, we could ask questions. The interview was less than an hour, and they said they'd email us if they wanted to move forward. I got an email offering me the job within 24 hours and started training less than a week later.
