I applied online, and the manager called me a few days later to schedule an interview. When I arrived, I learned that Henri Bendel was closing in January 2019, making the position temporary. A week after that, I got a call saying they chose someone else, apparently because the salary I negotiated was too high. I get that the boutique is small, but with 8 years of experience, I won't accept less than what I made as a Sales Associate.

After you apply, they'll review your application. If they like it, the District Manager will call you to set up a phone interview, especially if they aren't nearby. It's pretty straightforward. They mainly want to see your passion for the company and if you know some of its history. If they like you after the phone call and think you'd be a good fit, they'll discuss it with the Store Manager, who will then contact you.
