Speaking overall, the interview was a bit challenging if you don't have an IT background and haven't prepared enough. Fortunately, the HR person was really helpful and provided some pointers during the initial phone screening. The first interview involved the Hiring Manager from Poland and the local Team Lead. They asked many questions about your IT knowledge and experience. It's crucial to study the tips the HR gave you beforehand, otherwise, you'll likely fail the first round. The second round consisted of a Japanese language test, including both writing and conversation. The final round was an interview with the local manager.

HR is not very responsive, you have to follow up with them. There are multiple interviews. They ask you to prepare a PPT, but then ask totally unrelated questions. I heard from internal managers that the company is not good, they pile on projects and sometimes expect managers to work weekends without extra pay (only entry-level roles get OT). Still wanted to try for the interview. The manager asks very personal questions like 'Do you have a family?' and 'If your family is sick and the project is critical, will you still come to work?'. Questions to prepare for include: PMP, Scrum and Agile, Incident, problem and change management process, and personal questions like 'What if we ask you to come to the office during your holiday?'

The hiring process moved quickly. I had a good chat with a very nice recruiter. She asked about my salary expectations and then spoke with the manager about whether they could match my rate. She got back to me and was really upfront that they couldn't offer what I wanted, proposing a lower figure instead. She also mentioned she hoped we could potentially work together down the line if I didn't accept the offer now, under terms that suited us both better.

A lady called me during my work duties and asked for a 10 minute talk, but I couldn't do it then. She said she'd call back next day at 4 PM, and I agreed. I got ready for the interview, set aside time, and waited for 30 minutes. Then I left a voicemail saying I was waiting for the appointment, which never happened. A few days later, I got an automated message thanking me for participating but stating they couldn't move forward with my application. I felt offended by the rude behavior and wouldn't recommend this company to anyone except rhinos.
