First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Helping Hand for Relief and Development.
Intern
The interview process was really smooth and easy overall, and it didn't take too long. There was just one round where I talked to two people.
- Could you define what a nonprofit organization is?
Human Resources
Got hired over the phone after an employee referral, and came from a different department. There was an in-person interview with a few questions, and onboarding happened the next week via ADP. Happy with the interview time.
- Do you have prior experience in HR?
Marketing
I had an interview with the regional coordinator for the org that went for about an hour. Then I had a second interview with the CEO.
- What do you need to host an event?
Intern
It was an easy interview where they asked about my availability and past experiences. They also wanted to know what made me interested in HHRD. Just make sure you seem really enthusiastic and flexible about the job and the hours.
- Would you be willing to relocate and arrange your own transportation?
