The interview process was kinda all over the place. They had me make up 3 presentations to showcase my thinking and aesthetic sense, but they weren't supposed to be like full-on proposals. But then, during the in-person interview, some of the questions they asked made it clear they actually wanted full-blown proposals. The recruiter who reached out to me was great, gave me good feedback on the proposals before I submitted them. After that interview, I realized these presentations should have come after the in-person part. I spent 10 days straight coming up with ideas and vendors and building these visually awesome proposals. If I had to do 3 full proposals, it would've taken another 10 days. The moment I walked in, I knew this place wasn't for me; the vibe was off, and the cubicle setup just didn't feel professional. I also got the vibe that the executives interviewing me weren't super professional either, and their answers to my questions were either vague, they didn't seem to know their own company, or the company just wasn't as put-together as I'd hoped.
