The interview process was long and strict. It started with emailed questions that required significant thought. Then, there was a one-on-one video interview. After that, I was given a 4-hour extensive test project, which I found redundant given my portfolio. This was followed by a 3-hour final interview with about half the office. References were then requested, which I initially thought indicated an offer, but it's standard for all applicants.

So I had four interviews total. First was with HR, then I interviewed with mid-level management, then executive management, and finally, I met the team I would be working with. It was pretty much a sales-focused interview. They have a job opening, you want it, and you have to convince them why you're the right fit.

The interview process was great. Everyone was very energetic and wanted to dive in to the role. I had a clear understanding of what the role consisted of. I started with a Skype interview followed by a test project. After that I had a half day of interviews. I met with each person on the creative team, I was able to hear why each of them chose Helix and what they were looking for. Overall the experience was great, they were very detailed in what they were looking for hence the half day of interviews. This is how Helix finds the best people for each role.

I had a phone interview, then got called in for a 1:1. About a week later, the position was offered to someone else. However, that new hire didn't work out (maybe they wanted more money), so they ended up offering me the job.
