The recruiter was hard to reach and often called late at night. There was a lack of professionalism in work attire, with one interviewer wearing a hoodie. Upper staff raised several red flags, including comments like "some people don't want to work," and in-office staff seemed resistant to remote work, unable to state any policy. It became apparent why retention might be an issue.

I had interviews with two programs at Helio Health, and they were quite different. The first one felt more formal, with three interviewers who weren't very warm. The second interview was a more casual, flowing conversation with one person who was really friendly. The second interview had a hiccup though; another person was supposed to be there but called out sick, and the front desk staff had to scramble to see if they could still interview me. I did accept a job offer after the second interview, but I think they could improve how they manage the interview schedule.

I applied online to a job that fit my skills, submitted a cover letter, resume, and writing sample to HR. After several follow-ups, my initiative led to an interview. During the interview, I was polite, confident, humble, and courteous. I actively listened and asked questions, maintaining professionalism and engagement with a touch of humor. I also received an impromptu tour.

Behavioral Other

The interview process is quite long, usually taking over a month. They expect a lot from you, and even then, they might not offer you the job. They also tend to ask discriminatory questions about your age and health. The questions are very generic and textbook-like, with no real chance to get to know you.
