The interview involved one round with HR. The atmosphere was relaxed and the conversation pleasant. The focus was on my previous experience and job expectations, as well as aligning principles and discussing employee benefits. It was a very standard interview conducted entirely online.

Presentation

I had a practical interview where I had to teach a class with young children. I was asked to prepare materials and participate in a class. The interview lasted the length of a regular class. It was both simple and fun.

Behavioral

The interview was pretty informal and easy, they were friendly to talk to. I spoke with the school manager and one of the senior teachers. They seemed a little desperate for teachers though. The reason I’ve given this a negative review is because for personal reasons, I had to resign from my offer about 1 month before going to Korea. I had already sent all my documents to them, and I repeatedly asked for my documents back but I never got them - including my apostilled (very expensive) certificates and background checks. I’m assuming that they just shredded them because they just said they don’t have them anymore - those documents cost more than £250 to get authorised and posted.

The interview process felt unprofessional with two interviewers against one candidate, which I thought was imbalanced. They had a derogatory attitude and I could tell early on they weren't understanding.
