I sent in my application online and heard back pretty quickly, like the next day, to set up a phone chat. The phone call went well; we talked about what I've done, I asked some things, and it felt like a good fit. They then set up an in-person interview. I met with the CTO first, then did a coding challenge where I had an hour to do as much as possible. After that, I met the lead developer. A few days later, I went back to meet the COO and CEO in separate meetings, but during the same visit.

The process was pretty much on par with what has been shared here already. They hook you with their pitch on how they're coming at marketing with a new and exciting idea. Then you hear their "Director" on the phone and it's very much like a life-insurance style sale, lots of "trust me" and "deal" language. I was matched on Angel, then had a phone screen. Really nice conversation with a guy there. Then moved to a facetime and in-person which personally, I felt went well. The interviewers were OK, but I could tell they were being thrown in the room and didn't actually listen to what I was saying as there were no follow up questions to my responses... very HR software style cadence. Told I'd have a follow up by end of week, and we're now on to 2 weeks with radio silence... bad look. From the looks of the office and the reviews, definitely a company looking for answers.

The interview process started with a phone screen and then an in-person interview. The phone part was straightforward. The tricky part was scheduling and getting to the office. The scheduler emailed me using the wrong name, so I wasn't sure if I was supposed to show up at my scheduled time until I finally got someone on the phone. The office has no parking and is located in a really inconvenient spot. I ended up paying $15 for valet parking next door, and they didn't offer reimbursement. The office itself isn't accessible for people with disabilities, with a long hallway of stairs and no elevator, which was tough in heels. Then there was a long, repetitive series of interviews, each lasting about 20-30 minutes. I think the Co-Founder talked most of the time, maybe thinking I was interviewing her. A few people were really chill and made it comfortable. I asked about the job at the end, but it's been over two weeks and I haven't heard back despite sending 3 emails and making 2 calls. It's a bit annoying, but I guess that's how it is with a 1.1 Glassdoor rating.

I had an initial introductory call and it was a really great conversation, it seemed to go well. I really liked the interviewer. I followed up multiple times after the interview but didn't get a single response back. I'm sure they're busy but I thought it was a bit unprofessional.
