Buyer
The interview was really easy. They asked basic questions and told me about the job and schedule. It was a super chill interview, no stress at all.
- What is your understanding of hospitality?
Administration
The interview process was pretty normal. It was with Katherine and her son and daughter in the office they share upstairs at the South Burlington location. The interview was supposed to only be for an hour and we were already 10 minutes over an hour. They finally asked me if I had any questions for them, and I told them at this time that I didn't have any. For such an important position, I thought they were going to host second interviews, and I didn't want to hold them up any longer in case they had other stuff to do that day. Well when I said that, Katherine just sneered and rolled her eyes, got up from her chair, and went back to her desk, leaving the son and daughter to awkwardly finish the interview and walk me out of the building. Katherine's behavior was so disdainful and rude. I couldn't believe it. Everything I needed to know about how she treats people she believes are beneath her was conveyed through these two experiences.
- Were you asked about operational management in a grocery setting?
- Were you asked about IT management in a grocery setting?
- Were you asked about financial management in a grocery setting?
Wellness Associate
I applied online and after three days, I got a call for an interview. The Manager & Buyer interviewed me for 20 minutes. Two days later, I got a job offer. The turnaround was fast. The staff was nice and friendly during the interview, even though I wasn't totally ready for some questions.
- Can you tell me about how you prefer to be managed and describe the best working relationship you had with a previous manager?
Front End Cashier
it was a group interview which felt unnecessarily intimidating and rude, not welcoming at all for a job application. it was way too long for such a simple position and not informative at all. the group interview was extremely awkward, they asked questions in a disoriented way.
- Why are you interested in working for Healthy Living?
