Case Manager
I got an email asking me to schedule an initial interview, and I responded quickly. After a couple of days, I had not received a confirmation, so I followed up and received a response the next day. My first interview seemed to go really well -- the hiring manager told me that I would definitely be moved along to the second interview. Then they ghosted on me -- no follow up, and they did not respond to my attempts to follow up.
- Can you define motivational interviewing?
Employment Specialist
It was a two-interview process. First was a phone call. Second was a Zoom meeting. They asked standard questions and communicated well throughout. I appreciated that they let me know I wasn't selected for the original job. However, in the second interview, they offered me a temporary position I hadn't applied for. I declined, and it felt like that ended their interest in me for any role. I wasn't a fan of that bait-and-switch tactic; it was a major red flag.
- What are your thoughts on the reasons for homelessness?
Customer Service Representative
The hiring process was long. There was a lot of waiting around and start date changes. I had to change my resume to fit the format they preferred, the interview felt rush because they were so closed together and there was almost a month wait before the start date.
- What leadership style do you prefer?
Registration Specialist
It was really casual. I just went in and chatted with the office manager. We talked about my skills, what I thought the job would involve, and I got some info on the attendance policy.
- Tell me about your ability to provide customer/patient service and also your ability to handle 'difficult' patients.
