Direct Support Professional
It was easy! They were very descriptive and made me feel like an asset from the start. The potential supervisor was open and helpful in my decision-making. Excited for what's next. Seems like a great team.
- Can you tell me a bit about yourself?
Payroll Administrator
The company reached out about an HR role. I interviewed with an owner and the HR team. Then, I had a second interview with just the two owners. Although I didn't get the HR job, they verbally offered me the payroll position over the phone. I asked for a written offer letter detailing my duties and compensation. After a day of no response, they rescinded the offer because of my 'feedback.' I thought my requests were standard for a job offer, so I found it very unprofessional to take back the offer. I couldn't get any more feedback. Be careful if you're considering an offer from this company.
- Nothing asked seemed difficult or out of the ordinary for this type of interview.
Referral Clerk
My resume was passed along by a company employee to their supervisor, who then sent it to the recruiting manager. The recruiter reached out by phone, confirmed they had my resume, and asked if I was still interested in the Referral Clerk role. They went over the hourly wage, benefits, and general job duties, then asked if I was still interested and if I had time for an interview now or if I'd prefer to reschedule. The interview included common questions as well as questions about my experience with military bases and policies. At the end of the call, I received a provisional offer, contingent on passing a typing test and background check. The next morning, I got an email with initial paperwork and a link for an online typing test.
- Would you rather work on the computer or with people?
Coordinator
The hiring process takes months and is very disorganized. They'll get you interested, then you'll be left without clear communication or job security. If you have a full-time job, don't leave it for this company because there are no guarantees.
- They wanted to know who you are as a person.
