The interview started with a 10-minute phone screening, followed by a 30-minute Teams call with an Associate from the Portfolio Strategy team. However, the role wasn't what I expected, so I mentioned my interest in a different type of opportunity, which meant I didn't proceed to the next round.

I thought that the interviews themselves actually went well—I had a brief call with a recruiter and then 2 in-person interviews at Healthcare Realty's office, each about 1-1.5 hours. Their team seemed eager to fit in all of my interviews within a couple of weeks, but then the recruiter called a few days after my final interview and said that they had decided not to fill the role at all. It would have been less disappointing if something genuinely out of their control had come up that prevented them from hiring for the position, but the reason they gave was a merger that they knew was happening before I even came in for my first interview. So had they just waited a few extra weeks before posting the job to make sure that they were actually going to hire someone, they wouldn't have wasted their own time or the time of any potential candidates. When I reached out to the recruiter (who told me to let her know if I had any questions) to try to understand what had happened, I got ghosted. So despite enjoying the conversations with the people I actually interviewed with, it ended up being a very frustrating situation. If you decide to interview here, you might want to triple-check at the beginning of the process that they're certain they're even going to fill the role.

Had an HR phone interview, then an in-person interview with 3 accounting managers and the VP, followed by another in-person interview with the Assistant Controller. The dynamic was really weird. They offered me the job on Thursday, but then rescinded it the next day for no reason, just saying the position was no longer available. I wasn't going to take it anyway because I had other offers, but it makes me worried for future candidates. Just a heads up! They handled things in a very interesting way, not very professional.

A few days after emailing my resume, someone emailed me to schedule an interview which I thought was odd. The interviewer outlined the available times and noted that times were assigned on a first come, first serve basis. I replied with the time I was available and she sent a confirmation email. The interviewer was very nice and went into details about the position/company. In my opinion, the interview was a success. Obviously, she thought so too as she emailed me again the same day to schedule a second interview. She, again, outlined the times she had available on a first come, first serve basis but this time between a 4hr window during the afternoon the next day. I scheduled the second interview but this time walked away not sure how it went as it was somewhat unorganized. The initial interviewer introduced me to another associate and they looked at one another asking where should they start. Five minutes into the interview, another associate was introduced and the initial interviewer left me to speak with the other associates. I was not asked typical interview questions but rather told more about the company and the position. I was told they had interviews scheduled through the remainder of the week and that was two days ago. I have not heard a response yet.
