Human Resources
The interview started off weirdly. I wasn't greeted and was asked to sit for a bit. No handshake. Then I was taken to a private office where the hiring manager spent most of the time trying to talk me out of taking the job. She said things like "I don't know" "We don't do it like that here" "That's not a priority." The worst part was when she stood up, showed me a photo of the team, pointed out two people who had left, and mentioned another was leaving. I think she was implying I didn't fit in because I looked older and had the wrong skin color. It felt like she was unprepared and definitely not ready to seriously consider me. The whole vibe was about discouraging me from being interested. It felt like discrimination because of my age and skin color. I still haven't received any kind of rejection letter. She did mention some things about computers and systems, suggesting the company is behind technologically, which usually makes things harder.

Desktop Support Technician
I interviewed with two people, the IT director and a senior staff member. The interview wasn't too intimidating, and they were both really nice. We stayed on topic, and it was over quickly and concisely. I got hired pretty fast, which was great. Overall, it was a really good experience, one of the best interviews I've had.
- How would you handle prioritizing tasks in a medical setting?
Medical Assistant
I applied online at hcpnv.com. The whole hiring and interview thing took less than 3 weeks, but I was calling every day and really persistent. I had one in-person interview. Then a phone call from HR with a job offer. I just wish I had negotiated wages better. The people in HR were really friendly and the atmosphere was laid back.
