First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Healthcare Outcomes Performance.
Registered Nurse
The interview experience was unprofessional. The recruiter, who works in banking but was recruiting for healthcare, was passive-aggressive and micro-aggressive. The experience was so unprofessional that the applicant decided not to proceed with the in-person interview that was offered.
- What is your availability like?
- What makes you want to work for this company?
- Can you explain why your previous employment was short-term?
Customer Success Manager
It was a bunch of online interviews with some folks on the team and from other departments I would have worked with. They kept in touch between interviews and answered most of my questions about the job early on, but had no info on benefits and never got back to me about it. I got a verbal offer with a start date that was 'TBD'. Weeks passed and no one could tell me when I would officially start. It kept changing from May to mid-summer to end of summer, then just silence. After all this time learning about the company and meeting people, it's super disrespectful to just ghost a candidate after months of talking and a verbal offer. Some really great people work here, but it feels like they don't know where they're going. There have been a lot of M&As so I get why hiring is on hold, but leading someone on for 5 months without clear communication is not okay.
- What makes you want to join this company?
Senior iOS Developer
I started with a recruiter call at Revolution Technologies to make sure the remote, healthtech role fit my expectations (salary £75k–£85k) and experience. My resume went to the CTO, then I got a 5-page written questionnaire with behavior-style questions on things like code review and debugging, with 8 questions total and a 300-word limit each. After that, I had a 30-minute Zoom with the CTO. The next step was a take-home assignment: build a simple iOS app to display data from a JSON file. They estimated 4–6 hours, asking for best practices and both SwiftUI and UIKit implementations. I got written feedback after submitting, saying I wouldn't be moving forward.
- What defines a high-quality pull request?
- How do you decide what code you should test yourself versus what should be tested by QA?
- If a client reports a bug in production with screenshots and a Sentry error, what is your process for addressing it?
Front Office Representative
The interview process was a great and simple experience. I'm hoping to join the company soon, right before my upcoming move. The recruiter was very understanding and informative about my choices, especially since I'm applying well ahead of my relocation.
- Do you have experience with ICD and CPT codes?
